NutriAfrica ODV was founded in 2016 in the province of Naples with the aim of developing a new type of fast-use food for the treatment of Severe Acute Malnutrition in children aged 1 to 5 years.
NutriMAS is the innovative rapid-use therapeutic food developed by NutriAfrica ODV. Composed of ingredients widely available in Africa, such as sorghum and soy, it has a consistency similar to peanut butter. Its characteristics and composition make it more sustainable than therapeutic foods already on the market.
The first NutriMAS production plant will be in Gulu, Uganda, thanks to a partnership with the local University. Over time, the goal is to build other plants in Uganda and in several African countries.
You can support the project through a donation, using Paypal, a bank transfer or by allocating 5x1000 of your tax return.
Every year, you can subscribe to the NutriAfrica ODV membership card at a cost of 25 Euros and become a Volunteer Member, or an Occasional Member starting from 5 Euros/month or 15 Euros/year.
